About Dr. Tommy

Expertise. Precision. A Commitment to Do It Right.

My Story

Precision matters. So does listening.

Hi, I’m Dr. Tommy G. Hillman, DDS — and if you’re here, I want you to know you’re in the right place.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on extractions and dental implant placement, but my deeper mission has always been to restore something even more important: trust.

I’ve met countless patients who felt overlooked — who were given quick fixes instead of real solutions, or results that didn’t feel like them. That’s why I created Restoral Dental.

Because your smile should be crafted around you — your face, your bite, your goals, and your story.

Why I Built Restoral Dental

A Purpose-Driven Practice

Before founding Restoral Dental, I saw far too many patients walk through my door carrying more than dental issues — they were carrying the weight of disappointment. Crooked results, painful bites, and expensive do-overs had left them questioning what went wrong.

In many cases, it wasn’t bad intentions — it was a system built for speed, not precision. But I knew it could be done differently. Thoughtfully. Intentionally.

So I built a practice that puts people before production — where every smile is planned with care, guided by experience, and crafted to last.

Because getting it right the first time… that’s what patients deserve.

His Philosphy

Technology helps us get it right. Listening helps us make it yours.

I use digital planning, facial scanning, and precision tools to guide every decision — but none of that replaces the value of a real conversation. I take the time to understand your health, your priorities, and what matters most to you.

That’s why I created the Restoral Smile Protocol — a step-by-step process I use to ensure every smile I craft is built to last. From the first scan to the final reveal, every millimeter is planned with purpose. Because your smile should never be guessed, rushed, or compromised.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to act as a stable foundation for replacement teeth. They are designed to look, feel, and function like natural teeth, providing a long-term solution for missing teeth.

How do I know if I'm a candidate for dental implants?

The best candidates for dental implants are individuals with good oral hygiene, healthy gums, and sufficient bone to support the implant. During your consultation, Dr. Hillman will evaluate your oral health, bone structure, and medical history to determine whether implants are the right option.

Is the dental implant procedure painful?

Most patients report minimal discomfort during the dental implant procedure. We offer sedation options to ensure your comfort throughout the process. Mild discomfort is typical after the procedure, but it can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication. Dr. Hillman and our Restoral clinical team will provide detailed aftercare instructions to help you heal.

How long does it take to get dental implants?

The dental implant process can take several months and involves three basic steps: placement of the implant, healing time to allow your bone to integrate with the implant (osseointegration), and finally, the delivery of your prosthetic teeth. The timeline can vary depending on individual circumstances, but we will guide you through each step and provide a clear schedule during your consultation.

What are the benefits of dental implants over dentures?

Dental implants provide several advantages over traditional dentures. Unlike dentures, those secured to dental implants won’t slip or require messy adhesives. Implants help restore nearly all your chewing ability, allowing you to confidently eat the food you love.

Does insurance cover dental implants?

How do I care for my dental implants?

Caring for dental implants is similar to caring for your natural teeth. Brush and floss regularly, visit our Restoral Dental team for routine check-ups, and avoid habits like smoking, which can affect the health of your implants. We will provide specific aftercare instructions to help ensure your implants stay in excellent condition and healthy for as long as possible.

What if I don’t have enough bone for implants?

If you don’t have enough bone to support an implant, Dr. Hillman may recommend bone grafting or other procedures to restore the necessary bone structure before placing an implant. Dr. Hillman and our Restoral Dental team will discuss available options during your consultation to ensure the best treatment plan for your needs.
